I finally caved in and bought some transparent mahjong tiles. So here’s a little review I put together about it.
As shown in the link above, I got the set from Mahjong Mart. The case itself is pretty nice with the dragon print you see up there. No handle, but that’s not a big deal.

I was messing around with RPG Maker VX again a little bit last night after the mahjong game, and decided to try out some scanlating fonts to see how they’d look in it. Most of them looked fairly decent, but SFX fonts don’t hold up well. The following are some of the notable ones:
I’m gonna check and see how damage formula’s work next. My partner in crime knows the shortcut, but I’m more about the guts in this situation.
Anyway, the rest of the post contains the mahjong log using the Extra Dora rule.

Before I start talking about last night’s mahjong game, I’d like to present a drawing that Fia, a friend of Wong’s, did last week. Thanks Fia!
Now about last night. It was probably the best, most intense, and fastest game of mahjong we’ve played so far. It went for 11 rounds in about 3.5hrs, into the South round, and someone actually went into the negatives! I wish I could tape a session, but even I’d get tired watching it for three-and-a-half hours even with dBu playing through the PSP for background music (Scarlet Rhapsodia, Necromanza, Ethernal Nocturne, and Oratario del Vento in case you were wondering). As for the pictures this time, you may notice that some of the tiles are a little hard to read due to the angle the camera was at, so I do apologize for that. Anyway, time to recap.

Yes, I do have a page in the issue as a guest art request from Wong. It could have been better even after 3 years of inactivity, but that just means I need to do better next time, right?. Well, here’s the uncleaned version for curiosity’s sake:
Depending on whether or not the script works out will determine if I try to make an entry for AD 4 which is slated for an August release. Maybe in time for C74!
I don’t know if there’s a tutorial anywhere that says how to use Tenhou, but you can click the link below to read how that’s done.
