Top 5 Characters Yearly Evaluation and Others

With a new game and new characters, it’s time to reevaluate some old favorites, and see how they stack with new ones.

My Top 5 Favorite

  1. Patchouli Knowledge – Favorite through IaMP. Her personality helps too.
  2. Mamizou Futatsuiwa – Glasses, paper, sake bottle, leaf that suspiciously looks like a beret. It gives her an otaku doujinka feel even though it’s mostly tanuki characteristics.
  3. Byakuren Hijiri – Love at first sight and nice music to boot.
  4. Iku Nagae – Very classy with that scarf.
  5. Kasen Ibara – Very animated compared to other characters. Being mysteriously shady helps too.

Why stop there? Below is another set of lists for various trivia that you may never have thought about.

A-Kon 2010

Obligatory loot pic.

I don’t usually go to anime conventions due to lack of time (which comes with having a job) and money (which you would think you’d have more of after having a job), but this year, I went to A-Kon in Dallas, TX.

It’s my second time there, the first being two years ago, and I only have one word to sum it up.
