The community both in Japan and overseas gave their two bits here and there about ZUN’s reaction to the Maikaze anime being released this C75. It’s big buzz to be sure, and there are mixed reactions all around. Personally, I think ZUN’s entitled to do what he wants to with Touhou in general even as far as setting some basic guidelines. I think he deserves that much respect considering he’s not really making any profit from the series, and that he really has no qualms about other people making doujin work based off the series. From what I understand, the line is drawn so that confusion about where Touhou came from, what it is about, the canon (for lack of a better word) continnium of the series, and the characters’ true nature are not confused by a popular media due to high profile names or anything else. Well, I said more than I intended. My main purpose was to spread an analysis from someone who may not otherwise get the exposure, so here it is:
I don’t normally get caught up in the shopping frenzy during the holidays, but my room did need some sprucing and there were some decent deals. So, we went shopping for some insulated curtains (this room gets unbelievably cold), some new sheets, and I got myself a new computer desk which I hoped would save space in the room (which it didn’t). The lamp isn’t exactly in a good spot either since it doesn’t light up the desk well, but the printer can’t be put elsewhere. The papers and folder also need a more proper place than where they are now. It’s truly a dilemma. If anyone has suggestions for rearranging this tiny room, feel free to drop by a comment.
