Classes started a few weeks ago already since the last week on August. Nothing too different in this semester so far except a lot of paperwork and being the only guy in my aerobics class. Just the usual. I do wonder when if I can actually manage my marketing class’s paper since there’s an awful lot of work involved researching a product or company, and it just gets tedious after a while.
Editing for me has been slowing down lately mainly because of classes. There are a couple of other reasons though. A part of me wants to just be a normal person and not to have to keep up with the projects on top of my other legitimate responsibilities, but that just seems wrong considering I have one main obligation to a friend that who I have gone through a lot with earlier during the first half of this year. It’s not a simple obligation but more of a commitment I think. Hmm…a little hard to explain, but that’s the gist of it.
The other reason is because I’ve been working on an RPG project on the side. Burying my head in the designs and haven’t really left the paper phase for a good 3 months now because of it. I’ve finally gotten to the point where I’m doing maps instead of character skills, so that’s a start. Storyline is more or less half done, but I think I’ll need to tweak it a bit more to fit the world it’s set in and give it a little more depth even though it’s supposed to be an adventure story. Yanfly, a good friend of mine, has been providing some scripting support which I’m thankful for since I haven’t been able to anything more than script tweaks in my spare time. I do plan to do the sprite edits necessary for the characters, but that will be a while later considering everything else I need to take care of. I hope to have a demo by the end of December, but we’ll see how far I actually get by then.
