Ah, just as a notice, I’ll be moving to another site once that’s ready. It will be at http://rukaya.wordpress.com/ Not sure what I’ll do with it, so we’ll see. I’ll still use gensokyo.org for file hosting as long as the admin doesn’t cut me off.
And as a little update, one company that I applied to wants to hire me as a QC technician. It’s a job that analyzes the chemical content in fertilizers to ensure it’s the proper mix. I’ll be trained for the job for 1 year and be signed on for at least 3 years. It’ll be tough since I won’t be able to see my lady friend as often as I’d like since the location is nowhere near where she is, but it’ll work out somehow. I just have a lot of faith in our friendship.
By the way, have a rabbit:

First of all, I would like to thank all of you. The artists, readers, translators, editors, the raw providers, the scanners, and everyone else.
For the most part, it was a pleasure to work with everyone. It was a pleasure to see the fans’ reactions to various works that the artists have made. And it was also a pleasure to see continued support not for the people who localize the doujin manga but for those artists who created them. All in all, it was a pleasure.
Sure, we had our rough times: complaints about what didn’t get done or got done slowly, the way the scanlation process worked, and other various criticisms that had some legitimate concern behind them are just summaries of some of those times. I would like to answer them so that it’s all cleared up here.

…maybe. After my first real chance of failing a class this semester, I’ve come to believe that no one can really say they’re graduating until the diploma touches that person’s hands. I’m just being careful of not being overconfident is what it really ends up being.
Anyway, the department took a class photo of those planning to graduate this year. It was a little blurry, but I thought I’d share it anyway:

The professors are concentrated at the upper-right corner of the picture minus one. It’s up to you to guess which one I am. Whether you get it right or not, I won’t say. For those that do know, well…it’s our little secret, okay? (+_+)

Added a list of finished editing projects and those that I supported in. Could be anything from game patches to non-Tohou stuff, but I wasn’t involved in any of that. I guess I could use it as a portfolio if I decide to freelance licensed manga. I don’t like the idea of doing stuff like that since I don’t get to work with my own team though…
Guess I’ll brag on this artist a bit since she draws pretty cute and is doing her best on drawing a manga on top of other things. This is the only one from her pixiv, but maybe we’ll see more in the future? =3

Well, I wasn’t going to comment on anything about Touhou 12, but it seems that almost every Touhou fan from Japan to the 180⁰ on either side of ZUN’s house’s longitude line is excited to see Sanae as a playable character in the new Touhou game simply called “UFO”. Can’t blame them since I’m interested in it too not because I’m a fan of Sanae (not much of a fan, but she gets the thumbs up for being an awkward outside-the-border girl coming into Gensokyo as part of her charm) but for the plain fact that I find it interesting.
Anyway, pixiv fanart has been cropping up ever since ZUN’s announcement post, and is steadily increasing. Go check it out if you have a pixiv account.
